| Agriturismo Parco Verde |
The “Parco Verde” Agritourism is located in the Municipality of Grumento Nova - province of Potenza, in the region of Basilicata. It is 600 meters above sea level and 1km away from the Pertusillo lake. It stands at the centre of a vast area of considerable artistic and cultural interest
.
At just 200 meters from the agritourism you can find the Archaeological Park of Grumentum and the National Museum of Archaeology of Val d’Agri that, in Roman times it was one of the most important centers of the Lucanian countryside. The remains of the ancient city are one of the major tourist attractions for the Val d’Agri area.
The charming old farmhouse has the following accommodations: on the ground floor there is a restaurant which seats up to 70 people. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with private bathrooms and the possibility to add single beds when needed, and a large Living Room with free Wireless High Speed Internet Access.
In the woods nearby the farm, there is a camping area with toilets, electricity and water, where you can put up your own tent or stay in your camper and there is also a playground for children. The “Parco Verde” Agritourism “ was featured in the magazine PleinAir as a "point of quality” place.
Our 700 hundred year old famous Oak Tree is so majestic and breath taking as it stands 7,80 metres wide in circumference in the middle of the surrounding garden. It is the emblem for our “Parco Verde” Agritourism.
